Traveling with your family can be stressful. I recall vividly our first international family vacation to Portugal. We packed everything, including the kitchen sink, when our son was four months old.
The trip to Portugal was fantastic (you can read about it here), but it could have been even better if we had a little more experience. We would have stayed in different hotels, taken different routes, and spent more time exploring and seeing the amazing attractions.
After 10 years and 21 countries of family travel, we have seen nearly every failure and disaster. We've lost children, avoided hurricanes, been caught in massive floods, and were nearly stranded in Egypt at the start of the pandemic.
